I had a vTech similar telephone, with a base set and an extension. It worked well, but the speakerphone had the echo thing, and after five years, the buttons began to get flakey. I'd press one number and it would go in twice, and on the extension, had to press really hard to make them work.So, looked for phones and there were a lot, but this one was well rated, so I ordered a base phone and one extension set.
