I generally despise cordless phones. They still sound way better than conversation-destroying cell phones, (especially the benchmark-for-awful AT&T / iPhone combo) but they are usually lousy compared to wired phones when it comes to audio quality. But sometimes I need to be mobile and the cordless phone / headset combo is a viable solution. This Panasonic is surprisingly good. There is little extra noise in the audio and the range is big even in my apartment building with its endless array of competing WIFI and other wireless signals.
