I bought this fax machine to replace a panasonic fax that was 4 yrs old and stopped working. This model is very easy to operate and fits nicely on my desk. The phone/answering machine part works very well and sounds very clear and crisp. The fax part works well and is very clear. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a seperate fax/answering machine.
