We did lots of research, online and in person. We decided on this Panasonic because of the features we needed, and the size of the buttons, which are easy to read. The only thing we don't care for is the tone of the ringer, which doesn't always register as a phone, but which we expect to get used to. Otherwise, it seems as good as our last Panasonic, which lasted 12 years., I already own an earlier version of this wireless -- the KX-TG1032. Wanted another set to give to a relative. Amazon showed that there is a newer version of this product... I went for it (KX-TG4022N). I like the fact that it has a somewhat higher antenna power outp...
