I have had this phone for abut 2 weeks now & I do not know what other folks are doing or how they are using their phones but I have no problems with dialing any numbers at all,I can enter a number & it shows as it is being dialed. The speakerphone works like a charm as well,no static at all. I do love all of the features on this phone, from how you cam program one handset & it automatically programs the other handset(s) to listening to voice mail from either handset, but I do agree with with how you have to listen to a message twice to delete it, but that's a super minor issue though,(MOST OF US HAVE TO LISTEN TO A MESSAGE 2-3...
